Tax Preparation and Planning
If you’re looking for a firm that will focus on your individual needs, and always treat you like a client who matters, look no further. Our firm is large enough to offer a full range of professional services but small enough to give you the individual attention that you deserve.
We will thoroughly and conscientiously study your situation, and tailor our advice to your specific needs.
Minister Tax Preparation & Planning
Ministers and clergy face unique tax issues. Our tax services are designed to address ever-changing rules regarding ministers and clergy and to maximize any deductions available to them. We are ready to advise, help with planning, answer any questions to ensure compliance with the tax regulations, and at the same time minimize your tax liability. Remi and David are ministers as well.
Minister & Church HR Support
Ministers and churches/faith communities constantly face new opportunities and challenges. Perhaps you have been just ordained, or your compensation has changed and you need to adjust your estimated tax payments, or you need to understand better housing allowance or parsonage exclusion. Perhaps the church needs an accountable reimbursed business expenses plan for the minister or health reimbursement plan or advice on the minister’s compensation package. We can help so there are no surprises at the end of the year or if you are audited by the IRS.
Filing W-2, W-2C,1099 Online
Every employer (including the church) who pays for services performed by an employee must file a Form W-2 or form 1099-NEC to report nonemployee compensation ($600 or more) by January 31. We are here to help you file those forms correctly. Please, remember that the IRS requires that ministers and clergy should receive a W-2 and not a 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC form.

However, if you found some errors or feel uncomfortable with your tax return preparation process, or you have received notices from the IRS we might be of help. We can provide a second opinion free of charge.
Estimated Payments
Ministers and clergy are required to make estimated tax payments quarterly for federal income, social security, and state taxes. They may also elect to have their income tax for federal and state taxes withheld from their compensation voluntarily. There are four payments that ministers and clergy are required to make during a year (April 15, June 15, September 15, January 15). We can calculate your estimated quarterly tax payments or optional withholdings so you do not face any surprises at the end of the year.
